Our Physical Education Program

Beyond the regular school day, our children participate in phyical education. BMSB offers all Toddler and Primary students a Physical Education Program that helps them develop their gross motor and coordination skills.

In our Physical Education Program our children learn to:

  • Walk in a straight line
  • Walk backwards
  • Jump forwards and backwards
  • Climb stairs
  • Throw, catch, bounce, kick a ball, etc.

Physical fitness as we all know reduces sedentary behavior, thus reducing physical obesity in children. It is recommended that children get at least 1 hour of physical activities daily. In addition, Madame Theodora Koziol, throughout her yoga classes teaches her students to learn how to relax, inhale, exhale and get in touch with their inner self.
