Our Philosophy

The Bilingual Montessori Schools of Boston and Sharon’s philosophy is based on the Montessori pedagogy developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. “The first duty of an education is to stir up life, leave it free to develop.” (Maria Montessori). Our model of education emphasizes on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural psychological development, as well as technological advancements in society. This state of the art school provides a happy and safe environment dedicated to the preparation of children for a lifetime of learning.

The Bilingual Montessori Schools of Boston and Sharon believe in providing excellent education and is dedicated to helping every child achieve his potential by nurturing and stimulating the unique union of mind and body they possess through academics, language, music, drama, movement, art, and practical life skills provided by a skillful and dedicated staff. The Montessori Method we use creates a wonder-filled atmosphere where children can experience early on the joy and excitement of learning. This stimulating environment will help them develop, shape their lives, and take pride of their accomplishment.

The Bilingual Montessori Schools of Boston and Sharon carefully commit themselves to Dr. Maria Montessori principle of education. Such principles include respect and love for the children, and the dedication of the staff to help them develop within themselves an excellent foundation, and take their place in the society. As a full participant in daily activities, the children handle and manipulate the materials which fascinate and absorb them, and provide them satisfaction and joy.

At The Bilingual Montessori Schools of Boston and Sharon, the Montessori Philosophy matters. The materials and environment are meticulously designed and chosen to fit the youthful mind of the children, and to meet the appropriateness of their group level. Successful parents are looking for their children the type of teaching that leads to building confidence, ability to form close relationship, great work habits and academic skills. The Bilingual Montessori Schools of Boston and Sharon encourage the children to be independent within limits and freedom with responsibility.

“It is true that we cannot make a genius. We can only give to each child
the chance to fulfill his potential possibilities.”
- (Dr. Maria Montessori)
